The Weber family boasts over 50 years of expertise in skiing and adventure travel, marked by pioneering achievements in polar exploration such as unsupported ski expeditions to both the north and south poles, speed records, and conquering first ascents of Arctic peaks, among other milestones. In recent times, the Weber family has poineered the northernmost heliski operation on Baffin Island and orchestrated a luxury yacht-based heli skiing expedition on the shores of Greenland. Jean Robert Weber (aka Grandpa) performed the first ascent of Mt. Asgard as well as other first ascents in the Arctic Cordillera.
January 1, 1985
Richard Weber (aka Dad) and Josee Auclair (aka Mom) begin trekking in the Arctic.
January 1, 1995
Richard Weber (aka Dad) completes the world's first and only unsupported return trek to the North Pole from land.
January 1, 1997
Richard Weber and Josee Auclair lead annual commercial trips to the North Pole as well as small group backcountry ski expeditions on Baffin Island, Ellesmere Island, Bylot Island and Greenland. Tessum & Nansen spend numerous summers roaming the mountains of Baffin and tundra of the high Arctic.

Richard and Tessum Weber set the world speed record to the North Pole, from land, skiing in 42 days, 18 hours and 52 minutes.

Weber family organizes numerous private ski expeditions in the Arctic including super yacht heli-skiing on Greenland.

Nansen and Tessum Weber scout Baffin Island for heli-ski potential including several backcountry expeditions mapping glacier runs.

Nansen and Tessum Weber launch the world's northernmost heli-ski operation on Baffin Island.
April 1, 2024
Nansen and Tessum Weber found Weber Powder and acquired Battle Abbey Backcountry Lodge, formerly owned by Roger Laurilla, Loree Dokimenko, Bill Putnam and the Gmoser family.
