Life at Battle Abbey

Battle Abbey is a spectacular lodge with nearly five decades of history. While it's long been known to have world class skiing and summer adventures, the lodge has seen numerous renovations over its lifespan. In 2024, the team at Weber Powder invested extensively in modernizing and refurbishing the facilities to ensure guests have the best experience possible.

Sleep well: Battle Abbey has 5 guest rooms in the main facility for our guests each with either two twin XLs or one king bed.

Be warm: The lodge is heated through in-floor technology that recycles exhaust heat from our generators, allowing for comfortable and stable lodge temperatures 24/7. A state-of-the-art battery bank allows our lodge to operate at night and throughout the day with no noise pollution and without interruption to power and heat.

Dry your gear: our dedicated boot room and boot dryer means you can dry your wet gear after a powder day and start the day with warm gear.

Wash: Two dedicated wash facilities for guests are situated in the main lodge with flush toilets, (tiled) hot showers, proper sinks and more. Bathroom floors are heated to ensure a warm touch on tired feet after a day of skiing.

Eat: food is a massively important part of our experience. We pride ourselves on offering Canadian gourmet fare from small local producers and where possible, as close as possible to Battle Abbey. Oceanwise fish from the coast of BC, wines from the okanagan, cheeses from BC & Quebec, fruit from local interior BC growers, proteins from small organic farms across BC and more.

Sauna: relax in our sauna overlooking the glaciers of the headwaters of Butters Creek after a day of adventure.
