Hans Gmoser and his family, the founders at CMH, (along with numerous friends including Bill Putnam) were the builders of our beautiful Battle Abbey Backcountry Lodge. They spent thousands of hours laying the groundwork for the lodge and had the vision in the 1970s to build a lodge at the heart of some of the best powder skiing on earth. 

Every April, we are delighted to provide exclusive heliskiing for our guests. A period with one of the deepest snowpacks in the season, Weber Powder guests will have access to over 500,000 acres of terrain on a private helicopter skiing program. 

This exclusive program is designed for intimacy and personalized attention. Groups will be limited to 4-8 guests on a Bell-407, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of runs for everyone.
