New for This Winter: Rental Ski Program at Battle Abbey

We’re excited to announce a new offering for the coming winter season at Battle Abbey: a premium ski touring rental program designed to make your mountain experience even smoother.

Starting this season, guests will have the option to reserve high-performance touring skis directly through Weber Powder. We’ve partnered with Fischer Skis and their production team to bring in a fleet of powder-specific touring skis perfectly suited for Battle Abbey’s big-mountain terrain. Built for deep snow and dynamic alpine conditions, these skis balance float, performance, and lightweight efficiency—exactly what’s needed to move quickly through the Selkirk backcountry.

Each rental setup includes:

• Powder-tuned Fischer touring skis
• Lightweight, easy-to-use tech bindings
• Pre-fitted skins
• Adjustable alpine touring poles
  

We recognize that many of our guests are travelling from abroad—and that flying with ski gear can be frustrating and cumbersome. This program is designed to eliminate that hassle. The only gear guests need to bring are their pin-compatible ski touring boots (with walk mode), helmet, and ski clothing. Everything else will be waiting at the lodge.

Skis will be matched to your boot size and preferences ahead of time so you can hit the skin track right out of the helicopter, with no extra weight or gear to manage during travel. Whether you're looking to simplify your packing list, try something new, or avoid airline headaches, this program is here to make your journey to the mountains that much easier.
