Phil grew up in the mountain town of Banff and was lucky enough to have skis strapped to his feet at a young age by his lovely parents. Something he is still stoked-on many years later. On Phils path to becoming a mountain guide he's worked at ski touring lodges, heli-ski operations, and in mountain rescue/forecasting. Connecting with nature and each other in the mountains is what has motivated Phil to embark on the guiding journey and continues to inspire him. When not out climbing or skiing he can be found making pizza and drinking coffee at home in Golden, BC. 

Fun fact: In another life Phil was a member of the Canadian National Cross Country Ski team.
